the A127 and drive toward the A176. Then follow the routes below or the street plan.
By public transport come to Basildon on the Fenchurch Street line or to Basildon Bus Station.
By road from the East (Southend) or the West (M25) come on the A127 or A13 toward Basildon; from the North, join From the A127 Turn off the A127 at the junction with A176 toward Basildon. Follow the signs to the Town Centre. When you reach the double roundabout follow the signs to the Hospital (A176) and A13. This road takes you under a railway bridge. At the top of the hill, take the first left from the roundabout (local signpost Kingswood) which is Lee Wootens Lane and leads to the Kingswood Estate. Follow this road to a mini roundabout and turn left. Take the next left and you will find the church on you right with a large car park in the front
From the A13 Turn off the A13 at the Five Bells roundabout (signposted Basildon A176). From the Southend to London side the slip road to a pair of roundabouts, one on either side of the bridge. Turn right at the first and straight ahead at the second. Coming from the M25 take the first filter lane and A176 to Basildon. The road goes up the hill towards the hospital. At the top of the hill, take the last exit from the roundabout into Lee Wootens Lane which leads to the Kingswood Estate. Follow direction as above…..
Public Transport From the Rail or Bus Station go to the traffic lights at the East end of the Bus Station, opposite the car park entrance. Go under the railway and up Clay Hill Road. The church is about a quarter of a mile on a large bend, on the right, before the shops. (see map)
