I’m Adrian, I am retired and previously spent 20 years working for Lloyds Bank, 11 years for Eastern Electricity and finally, 18 years with Southend Borough Council until I retired in 2022.
I have lived in Basildon nearly all my life and although my parents were not Christians, my Grandmother encouraged them to send me to Sunday School when I was 5 years old. In turn, this led me to join the Boys Brigade where I eventually gained the Queen’s Award. I gave my life to the Lord at a Boys Brigade Camp when I was 14 years old and since then have carried out many roles within the Church, except those that involved singing! I joined Kingswood Baptist Church in 2007 and became Deacon & Church Secretary in September 2023.
I am married to Michele and we have a blended family of six children and 12 grandchildren which, as you can guess, keeps us very busy.
I love reading, films, napping and am a football fanatic.
I have been excited to see what God would do with my life since I retired. My one desire is to serve and to reveal the love of God to those around me.
