I have been worshiping at Kingswood Baptist Church since 1996 and I am currently overseeing all things related to prayer. Prayer is the boiler room of the Church – it fuels our lives as individuals, families and as a community. Prayer enables us to understand more about God and His plans and it changes situations.
My heart is for all of God’s people to be active in prayer by developing different ways of praying within the life of the Church. Prayer is an integral part of our Sunday mornings together. There is a regular intercessory prayer time and there are opportunities for people to seek personal prayer. There is also time to meet and pray on Sunday evenings. There is a team of people who lead a short time of worship, share briefly about a passage from the Bible and guide our prayers. During the week different groups within the Church meet and prayer as part of these meetings. In addition we have regular prayer events which often have a specific focus and have creative activities. When I am not at Church I work at an Infant School. At the weekend and during holidays I can be found swimming, gardening, walking and enjoying the outdoors. I also enjoy reading and visiting art exhibitions in London with friends and family.
