One of our pursuits is to pursue relationships through intentionally connecting with the church family via Sunday gatherings, Small Groups and serving because God has created us for relationships to care for one another. In light of this, we seek to create an environment and culture with our church family that ensures that visitors and regular worshipers alike are encouraged, befriended, prayed for and supported. To this end we have several areas of church life that people can explore where friendships and relationships can be made.
GEMS
A Ladies fellowship group at Kingswood Baptist Church.
GEMS is the meeting of the ladies of Kingswood Baptist Church, who Gather, Equip, Mobilise and Support one another in our daily lives as disciples of Jesus Christ.
Gather – We meet together regularly to establish and maintain loving, nurturing and trusting relationships through events such as ‘coffee and cake’, film night, meals out, picnics, walks, book club, ladies breakfast, prayer meeting and conferences.
Equip – We seek to equip and strengthen each other to serve God as disciples of Jesus Christ by sharing time, testimonies, God’s word and coming together in prayer, enabling use of gifting and seeking and responding to the direction of the Holy Spirit.
Mobilise – We look to where God purposefully places us, and who he places us alongside and recognise our commitment as God’s disciples, to spread the good news of the salvation in Lord Jesus Christ.
Support – We seek to honour Jesus Christ and demonstrate his love for us through how we care for, encourage, love and support one another—daily, weekly, monthly, annually; individually and collectively.

KBC Fellaship
A men’s fellowship group at Kingswood Baptist Church.
Men need a forum and a place to forge good strong friendships which over time will become open enough for conversation about stuff other than what they do for work or the football! Many men at KBC are already actively engaged in discipleship groups; with Ministry teams or in leadership roles and give time sacrificially to the life of the church.
Our vision is that the KBC Fellaship will provide a focal point for all men of KBC, including the younger adults, which will offer social/pastoral/companionship, as well as being a vehicle for bringing other men to faith.
Social events might include, meals, go-karting, curry nights, quizzes, film nights and bowling; whilst Men’s breakfasts, prayer meetings and social action tasks will feed us spiritually.
