Hello, I’m Praveen, and I serve as a Deacon at Kingswood Baptist Church.

I’ve been part of the church ever since moving from London to Basildon in 2018. During this time, Kingswood Baptist Church has truly become a spiritual home for me and my family. It has always been my passion to serve in the local community wherever God places me, and when we relocated, we felt led to join KBC and worship here as a family. My journey of faith has grown steadily over the years, and I’ve come to know more deeply God’s grace, guidance, and faithfulness in everyday life.

Prior to joining KBC, I was part of Bethel Ministries Telugu Church in London for eight years, where I served as a worship leader and a committee member for several years. Since coming to KBC, I’ve been involved in different areas of church life, including serving on the worship team, helping with Sunday School, outreach, and small groups. I’ve always had a heart to serve wherever needed and to support the life and mission of the church.

In my role as a Deacon, I’m particularly passionate about encouraging others, supporting the smooth running of church life, and being involved in outreach. I see this role as a privilege and an opportunity to serve others, reflecting the servant-hearted example of Jesus.

Alongside my full-time role in Business development for a textile agency in London, I also volunteer as a school parent governor at Maple Grove Primary School in Pitsea. I am also part of the leadership team for the Association of Telugu Christians UK and Europe, which seeks to promote Christian values and support networking within the Telugu Christian community across the UK and Europe.

I am married to Vanitha, and we are blessed with three children who are currently in full-time education. As a family, we especially enjoy being part of the KBC community and serving together, particularly through the worship team.

It’s a real blessing to be part of Kingswood Baptist Church, and I look forward to continuing to serve and grow alongside others in faith.
