Hi there, I’m Nathan and in September 2020 I was appointed as a Deacon and Charity Trustee at KBC, and then appointed as Elder from February 2022.

I am married to Liz and we are blessed to have two teenage children, Jessica and Sam. I have been a civil servant in central government for more than 25 years now, always working in the health sector. In 2019 we moved from Billericay to Basildon so that we could be in the community around KBC and to be closer to our church family.

It was Liz that first came to KBC, followed by the children who attended the Sunday Flight activities and, after a few months of attending services, I too came to faith in 2015.

From early on in my faith journey, I felt I was called to gather the men of KBC together through the Fellaship social and spiritual activities that we organised. This ministry provided opportunities to help build new relationships and for men to come alongside one another in their walk with God. I continue to facilitate bringing people together through the small group studies that I lead.

Along with the rest of the Moore family, I’m also part of the Public Worship Team and frequently serve on the sound desk for services.

My prayer is that we unite as God’s people with our hearts set ablaze and shine the light of Jesus out into the community of Basildon.
