CAP Money Course, 1st, 8th & 15th March

The CAP Money Course is a revolutionary money management course that teaches people budgeting skills and a simple, cash-based system that really works.

The first CAP Money Course was held at KBC in March this year. 7 people attended – 5 from KBC and 2 from another local church. The course was run over 3 evenings and is a mix of short DVD films,group discussion and exercises to make you think about money and your attitude to it. The course is free and teaches participants how to budget, save for the future and live on cash.

Lyn was my friendly CAP mentor, her gentle and calm presence made me feel welcome and more at ease with a prickly subject that I often find stressful. She shared her personal experiences and gave us time to discuss and share ours in a confidential and safe environment. She went above and beyond to help me when a childcare crisis prevented me from attending the last session giving me the opportunity to catch up at her home and offering continued support.
